APPELLATION: Marlborough, New Zealand
VINEYARDS: A selection from estate grown vineyards
VINIFICATION: Grapes were picked in the early hours of the morning to help retain
their fresh and vibrant flavours. After gentle pressing the free run juice was transferred to stainless steel
tanks and fermented at 15 degrees celcius, the pressings portion was transferred to old oak barriques and
naturally fermented. Followed by careful blending and bottling.
TASTING NOTE: Delicate aromas of ripe pears and white pepper under-pinned by floral aromatics. A refreshing palate with a moreish finish of peaches and cream.
CULINARY SUGGESTIONS: Our favourite food matches are Asian style dishes.

The Riverlore illustration is of a Taniwha. In New Zealand mythology, Taniwha (pronunciation: tanifa) are creatures
that live in deep pools in rivers, dark caves, or in the sea, especially in places with dangerous currents or
deceptive breakers. They may be considered highly respected protective guardians of people and places, or in some
traditions as dangerous, predatory beings.
